Meeting with friends or relatives among the crowd is many times difficult, therefore the technology of Wave is a solution to facilitate the meetings by enabling two or more people to share their live location on a private map. How does it work? Wave uses notifications to ask users for permission, once they accept it a map is displayed spotting each member moving in real time, as they do in real life.

Wave is a geolocation tool that includes a chat and it is a complete way to organize the hangouts. To open a map you can select a contact or open a group with several members, choose for how long you want to share the location and send the request. When the others accept it, a session will be opened locating users in real time.
“Group maps are very popular, since it is more useful to have an idea of where the others are, to see who is late, who is already in the restaurant or ir they are changing the destination. That makes the experience more interactive” , says De la Esperanza.

In Christmas, the use of the car fires and increases and this year is expected that 97,4 million people will drive during the Christmas weekend in the US, according to a study from AA launched this week.
“We created Wave from a situation where we waited for a colleague to work for a meeting and as he was driving on the motorcycle we did not know how much it would take him to arrive or whether he was fine. It was a very frustrating moment in which we understood that there was no simple, private and precise solution to meet with friends, colleagues or relatives, “says De La Esperanza.
