It is very accurate finding a friend at ski stations, hiking routes and at any other of outdoor activity. Many of our users also tell us that they use Wave frequently while picking up their loved ones so that nobody would have to wait.
How did it all started?
Our Founders CEO Manuel De La Esperanza and COO Luis Gelado, explain that it all started in a normal daily situation: “We were waiting for a colleague who was late and realized there was not one effective way to find people by using technology”.
Wave started in 2012 with a small team of entrepreneurs. “It was a nice time, we worked super hard, made many mistakes but enjoyed every moment since the very beginning”. By today, Wave has expanded fast around the world, reaching millions of users in more than 150 countries.
